.. everytime I try.... I tried to hold back my tears tonight as our cruel words flung across the room and pierced the awkward silence that had ensued only moments before. November Rain..I cried tonight as I clung to your emaciated frame. My muffled sobs piercing the blissful silence and those damnable crimson tears staining the sheets. I’m happy you weren’t awake to hear my wretched sobs, what would you have done? Screamed at me to shut up? Or try to wake yourself from your drug induced stupor long enough to comfort me? I don’t think I would have been able to stand the gaze of your haunting eyes prying their way into my defeated soul. The first time we met...Mon Dieu. I remember it like it was yesterday.
